Remember - to be termed a good exotic animal owner you have to look at this animal as a wild animal and not a domestic pet to be kept in the house and taken for walks on a leash.
Monkeys should be kept in large outdoor enclosures suited to their needs and with the company of their own species - to keep them in a house wearing clothes is to me an insult to these beautiful animals.
Look past the pet factor and see the animal. These guys need very specialist care and are not to be part of a fashion statement. To keep them right you need large enclosures, the company of their own species if said species needs it, environmental enrichment to keep them mentally happy and stimulated, and the right diet so that their nutritional needs are fully met.

That depends a lot on different things. How much space does he have? A big cat needs a lot more room then a chinchilla. Also, exotic pets are best not given as a gift. If you want to get him an exotic, tell him, and have him pick. He'll know what's best for him.

I think that a Capuchin Monkey would be the perfect exotic pet. They are used as therapy animals and also are very easy to train. They have sweeter temperaments than many exotics. They are very social as is Magina, and would get along well with the other creatures that Magina so loves. He could even train the monkey to use the toilet! That way he wouldn't have to worry about changing diapers. ;-)

How about a tarantula, a guinea fowl, a lorikeet, hmmm, an exotic breed of rabbit?

he likes cute and cuddly things so I would go with maybe a chinchilla (spelling). Nothing cuter than watching that roll in the dust

Magina loves all animals but you have to consider he is a little leery of those with fangs, sharp claws an spines. He also doesn't like poo. So it must be gentle and cuddly and slow and not poo very much. A three toed sloth would be perfect. (they come out of the tree and poo once a week at the base of a tree)

Maybe check out a shelter to see what they have, like an abandoned raccoon or hedgehog or something.

P.S. Seaturtles are illegal to keep as pets in the U.S.
