   You should give it 2 tbsp. of hamster chow. They are not big opportunistic eaters, so they will decide when they are done.

   Firstly, I would suggest switching out of the Fiesta pet food and getting Kaytee lab blocks. The reason is the Fiesta mix has treats and regular food mixed together and hamsters would just throw the healthy pellets out of the bowl and only eat the nice yummy treats (wouldn’t you do that too?).

   So, if you do decide to get lab blocks, those are fully nutritious. Here’s a picture of them.

   It says it’s for mice and rats but hamsters can eat it too. It may look more boring than what you have but wouldn’t you rather hand feed treats to your hamster every day than have him eat it all the time by himself? :)

   As for how much you need to feed him, hamsters can tell when they have had enough protein so they usually won’t overeat. Hamsters only get pudgy from a lack of exercise or too many treats. Usually, I fill my hamster’s entire bowl with food and change it every week.

   If you want to give it more healty treats, try other veggies like greens or cheerios dipped in milk.

   It really doesn’t matter. I think fill the bowl and fill it when it is empty [nne in their house either though], that’s what i do i mean i dunno why peple are like” Oh no i fed my hamster 1 cup when he needs 1 cup 3/4!” junk. Like my mom says: They are not us. As in they do not need to balance their meals, they eat when they are hungry. By balance i mean as in quantity. You need to feed them a seed diet but if you can, pellet is better.

   well u should use about 3 teaspoons and give um nuts or carrots and boiled chop eggs if it gets prego
