Can you explain the adoption process?

I’m going to adopt a dog from a county shelter for the first time.Im going to go look at her tomorrow.She’s a puppy.I also have 2 other dogs.Will it make a difference or can i get her use to them btw both of them are good with other dogs.Here’s the process for the shelter(explain it in more detail):
1. Complete an Adoption Application
2. Meet with an Adoption Counselor to determine if the pet is a good fit for your home
3. Read New Pet Ownership Guide and Sign Disclaimer Agreement
4. Process the Adoption Fee payment
5. Register for Pet Retention Training

About how long will it take?

    to complecate, can’t U just bring a dog home?
    take him to the vat?

    1, fill out the adoption application for the dog.
    2. Talk to a person about the dog, seeing how well you know about dogs, if you have a fenced yard, how will you exercise etc.
    3. Read the book they give you and sign some contract.
    4. Send in money for the dog and wait for them to get it
    5. Register the dog for training so you can have it
