yea but dont leev them alone put the pups in cages and let the cat out then let the pups out and put the cat in a cage the pups will be very playful so they will try to wrestle with the cat and probly kill it keep the cages in seprate rooms too

It is much better to introduce a cat to puppies instead of to a full-grown dog. We just got a puppy about 4 months ago, and brought her home to our 5 year old cat. The cat does not have any problems with it. Once in a while the puppy will try to play rough, but the cat will just run away. It will then just come back in the room a few minutes later. It almost seems to know it’s just a puppy that doesn’t know any better. Every cat is different though. Some are deathly afraid of all dogs. You’ll just have to bring it home and see. If it doesn’t work out, you can always take it back to the shelter or find someone who will care for it. At least that way you will have seen what will happen, and not have them put the kitty to sleep right now. I’d suggest allowing the kitty to roam the whole house freely with the pups in their crate. After the kitty feels like she’s the “ruler” of the house, she’ll have a better time dealing with the pups. It wouldn’t be good to have both a new house and new pups for the kitty to worry about all at once! After she’s comfortable with your home, then bring the kitty and pups together.

introducing them early is going to be easier, tryshowing the cat a towel or blanket that the puppies have been slleping on. then hold the puppies and let the cat come to them. once he has gotten a good sniff, then let the puppies get a sniff too. the puppies wont be a problem, but weather the cat likes them or not is the question.

Here’s what you do, put the cat in a room with food, water, toys, and a litter box, nothing else. we did this with our new cat towards our other cat and it worked out just fine. if you have a two story house and let the dogs upstairs, then they can sniff under the door and hear eachother so they kind of know eachother before they see eachother. if you don’t let them upstairs because of accidents, then keep a close eye on them. if you just have a one story house, then you should be fine, but if you have the rooms in a carpet section that the dogs are not allowed on, then watch them if that is the case also. trust me, this works.

No they will usually get along fine. You just have to make sure the puppies go a little gentle on the cat. Two puppies can gang up on a kitten so just keep a close eye. And give the kitten some where it can get away that the dogs can’t go. Also remember to put the litter box some where the puppies can’t get to it. They love those snacks left behind. And the cat may not use it if it is in a spot where it gets ambushed when it is trying to use it’s box.

When they are raised together they normally will do well together. Good Luck

No, i have one puppy and a kitten since their so young they don’t realize they are a different spec is and act like brother and sisters but if you see them fighting almost don’t worry young animals do that its totally normal. So go ahead and save that poor kitten.
