The whole bit about the gene pool or whatever it was…Do they believe it?
I hope the person at the bottom isn’t implying that they would “buy” a mixed breed. (The one that said whatever about never buying purebreds!).
The only place to go for a mixed breed is to the shelter.

And NO I am not looking for a dog.

i think so, but not me

I’m sure many people do. I don’t and I think that this is either a puppy mill or a backyard breeder. Ugh someone email them and tell them to stop!

  4. ghost

    I think they buy anything.

People are idiots. They will believe anything.

no what you should do is check the dogs out before considering them

  7. trotty13

well, i would never buy a pure breed, too many health issues, mutts or mixes usually have better health.

    Ah-Ha A Micro-Mini-Teacup at last!
I’ve waited my whole life for one of those

have you seen our new line of micro Beagles? — not
    (he says “I’m in trouble”)

There are enough stupid people out there to believe damn near anything.

    LAWL
    HA HA HA HA
    did you guys see that??
    “LOOKS PURE”
hmm yeah i guess then its a purebreed

seriously, i hope not. teacups are the same dogs as the regular “non-teacup” breed. “teacup maltese” grow to be no smaller than a “regular maltese”. i bet they just take their pictures when the puppies are really young so that they look “teacup” sized. really, who gets fooled by that??

besides, if there was a runt of the litter then why call it “teacup”? its just like a nicer way of saying “THIS IS A RUNTY PUPPY!!” its just a bit small, no need to make fun of it

yes there is a such thing as a gene pool where people (often times breeders) breed specific types of dogs to try to pass on good traits like fur color or coat length
this has been happening since the first dog was created people want trait like friendliness instead of fierceness in dogs

Personally I don’t, but there are people out there who get fooled by those sort of things. I wouldn’t trust the people who posted the ad as far as I could throw them (and since I couldn’t really throw them anyway, I basically wouldn’t trust them at all- LOL).

Yes, there are things called gene pools, in which breeders breed animals together to pass on specific traits, e.g. fur types, temperaments, colour, etc. However, this can also cause lots of problems (look up about the recent Crufts scandal thing, where loads of dogs have now been shown to have defects due to selectiv breeding like this). But, the ad says something about a ‘broken’ gene pool, which I have never herad of, and just adds to my distrust of the ad.

This ad should be taken offline, especially as the source doesn’t seem all that trustworthy, and is likely to be a puppy farm or backyard breeder.

ROTFLMAO……oh dear, you think some pig-ignorant BYB crook wouldn’t be LIAR too???

& yeah, people in general will believe the OBVIOUS manure imaginable. You see that hourly here…everywhere. Bigfoot,Flat-earth.Loch Ness conspiracy theorists “Mutts is heal-fier” *****…the list is endless.

Yes. It seems like many people want them small like this. This is so sad. We see dogs like this all the time. Would be hard to get her spayed as there are extra risks when they are small like this. So sad that people breed them so small. Dogs this small sometimes have more risks to their health. I like my dogs healthy!

$550 for a dog the size of a Big Mac? American dollars? sheesh!
