You can feed your dog any kind of dog food. There are special medications and pills your dog can take with his food to help prevent gas. My dogs has to take it too.

Good Luck!!!

i would stop feeding him beneful. i fed that to my dog too for a while, until i noticed her having gas and lose stool. so i slowly mixed in a new food called diamond adult food. it is the best stuff i have found. no corn, by products or preservatives. gas has stopped, solid stools and lots of energy and shiny coat too. even lost some weight (fat) and built some muscle.

Dogs NEED carbohydrates and grains, as like as they are high quality whole grains, like brown rice.

Look into these brands, they all make great dog foods: Wellness, Canidae, Nutro Ultra, Natural Balance, and Nature's Recipe.

If you don't want to spend alot of money, Nutro's Natural Choice is the best bang for your buck.

If you ABSOLUTELY MUST, feed from the grocery store, then feed Iams, but I still don't recommend Iams.

Try mixing some crushed charcoal biscuit in his feed, I had the same problem with one of my Boxers, boy, did she whiff, the biscuit did tone it down quite a bit.

I highly suggest feeding Honest Kitchen Embark Dehydrated Dog Food. This is what I feed all my dogs. The Honest Kitchen's Embark is a grain-free and low carb premium recipe for all life stages. This gourmet puppy and dog food diet is made with limited carbohydrates and high protein to support muscle structure and function, and promote lean body mass. It is particularly suited to puppies and more active dogs and is ideal for those who are intolerant of grains.
