how can we coax a scared parakeet out of her hiding spot?

We work in a pet supply store and our store pet got loose when we opened the door to give her fresh millet and now we can’t find her anywhere. She’s very untame and she’s probly very scared. We already tried putting millet in various places. Our store is very small and we only have one door which one of us has been constantly watching. What can we do to coax her out of hiding?

    turn the lights down very dim. and stay away from where she might be. if it is dim lighted and she thinks she is alone she will most likely venture out.

    The first respondent had a good idea, but I’d also coax her out with a special treat that she likes. Turning the lights down may only cause her to go to sleep.
