I recently adopted a ragdoll cat from some locals in my area who could no longer keep her and were going to have her euthanized. She’s a purebred seal point mitted ragdoll and she’s gorgeous. Anyways, I found out that she was pregnant when I took her to the veterinarian for a check up and to set up an appointment to have her spayed.
The people I adopted her from told me that they were unsure how she became pregnant, (yea right) but the only possible father was not a ragdoll cat. I was informed he was a light brown striped cat with light green eyes.
I am completely ignorant to the fact of how cat genetics work. I’ve never had a cat that had kittens I have always spayed/neutered my cats
I was just wondering what the kittens will look like?
Please do not bash me..This time it’s actually not my fault… I am going to get her fixed as soon as she is able to be spayed after her kittens are born.
They are probably going to all be different some with be fluffy some will be short haired some with be brown with no stripes some with have stripes. They will all look different. And she will probably start spending time in one spot until she has the kittens. Also don’t touch the kittens for a couple of days.
