Where do you find lists of wholesalers?

I’m interested in starting a pet supply business. How do I get a list of wholesale pet supply dealers – or do I contact each manufacturer directly? I am just in the planning stage, so I don’t have a registered business yet, but would like the information to determine if the project is feasible (ie. quantities I would need to purchase, terms of sale, etc). Any suggestions???

    Contact the MFG.
    If they have Distributers they’ll tell you who it is for your area.
    If you do enough volume, they’ll sell you direct.
    Get as big and evil as walmart, you can dictate the price.
