Do you feel food imports should be restricted in light of pet food poisoning?

silent watcher asked:

It is reported that Chinese wheat contaminated with rat poison was used in the manufacturing of pet food products made here in the US. Who is not to say that the same thing could not happen with other human food products from outside the US like coffee? This is a scary thought. Think I will just buy a farm and raise my own food that way I will know that only I had access to my food supply.

I think the product should go through a more rigorous testing process. Not on live animals, of course!

yes I do think that there should be restrictiions. as I have been telling people for years not to buy raw hide that has been made oversea’s because they use arsnic as a perserative.
