I have a purebred pomeranian and I’m wondering if its worth it to get pet insurance for him? If so, Where’s the best place to get it from? Cheapest? Thanks!

I put my 6 month old puppy in her crate while I am gone at work. She is only in her crate for about 4 hours at a time before someone else gets home to let her out. Her crate is only big enough for her to stand up and move around a little. Its the size the vet recommended so im sure its not too big. I have tried giving her treats in her crate and thats just not working. I let her out before and after I put her in the crate. I know its not her fault yet but I just dont want her to have to sit in her *** while I am gone. After she pees in her crate I clean it out really well. I know pet stores sell sprays to keep puppies from chewing on things but do they sell a spray to make puppies not want to *** in their crates? She does have a sheet in her crate I dont want to have to take it out but I think that may be part of the reason she is ****** in there.
She is a dachshund puppy. I have had her for a little over a month. She does not seem to have any other issues and has been to the vet at least 2 times since I have gotten her. I was told that 4 hours should not be too long for her to hold it. She does not have any water in her crate only a treat.

We have the sweetest, most handsome cat in the world, Meeko. He is 13 and very friendly. He gets along great with our collie and the birds. We are thinking of getting a kitten. How do older cats usually react? Are they like dogs in the way that the kitten will liven up the older cat, or are they resentful? We would introduce them gradually, and we’ve also heard of rubbing the new kitten with household scents like our cat’s blanket. How does this usually work out? What do you suggest doing when bringing a new kitten home?

I’ve had a few pet birds in my past when I was a kid. And now I am just curious to know how much it would be to buy a parakeet or two plus a cage and toys and what not. I am just looking to see if it is a reasonable price and that if it is worth it. I just remember them being very simple. And that’s what I liked about them.
Thanks!

My Boston Terrier is 13+ and gets stiff in his back legs after he’s been sitting for a while. I’ve looked in pet-supply places, and doggy pain relievers are SO expensive!
