Pet insurance for my umbrella cockatoo?

Yes I know some will say its not worth it. I’m 17, I want kids but I’m in college planning to go to medical school so shes like a kid since I have so much time for her so its worth it. Any good places to check out? and yes I do believe pet insurance is worth it. I’ve already had a couple of emergencies from plucking a feather and bleeding to death.

    Pet insurance is NOT worth it. First of all, it’s not like people insurance. You don’t hand the forms to the vet and let them do the paperwork. YOU pay up front, YOU send the claim forms in and YOU wait for reimbursement, which could take weeks or longer. Just set up a savings account and add $15 or $20 a week into it.
