Pet shops or breeders in Los Angeles?

I am interested in buying a tea cup or toy pomeranian and i was wondering if anyone knew of a good Pet shop or breeder that i could purchase one from in los angeles. I want them to be legitamet breeders or pet shops, as i want a healthy puppy. If anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it!!!

There’s no such thing as a teacup anything, and a pomeranian by definition is a toy breed. No pet shops sell quality animals, they all come from puppy mills. Check the AKC website for info on local breeders.

Like Floopy said, no such thing as a “teacup” dog… it is simply a marketing ploy. Anyone that advertises their dogs as this is NOT reputable. NO pet store is legitimate since NO good breeder would ever allow their dogs to be sold in one.

THere are no LEGIT pet shops.
There is no such thing as a reputable breeder of “Tea cup” or “toy” breeds. (SOME breeds are considered “toy”)
So, no luck there. Try a shelter.

healthy and teacup don’t usually go hand in hand, there can be problems. teacups can either be “runts” or Small dogs bred to other Small dogs to make small babies, but the babies don’t Always turn out Small and can complicate the pregnancy for the mother. Most reputable breeders wont claim they sell teacups, but if you contact a standard papillion breeder they may have some small dog pairings or point you in the right direction.

EDIT: To California Kush, I’m sorry you have completely misunderstood me. I was not referring to you, I meant the general people viewing/answering this question were rating down good answers, and rating up people who simply bashed your question.

NO pet sop is legitmet place to buy a dog EVER Unless a rescue uses the place to house rescue dogs. NO PET STORE EVER sells dogs from reputable breeders, ever. they are all from back yard breeders and puppy mills.
As for wanting a teacup pom, drop some acid as that is as close as you will get to one. there is ni such thing as a teacup pom, poodle, beagle, doberman ect.
Look for a breeder who is active in showing her dogs, can give you a pedigree that goes back at least 5 generations, who does proper OFA tests on her breed of dog and has a OFA number you can go look at on the website (OFA.org I belive it is) make sure they have a health guarentee of
ATLEAST 2 years

Do not buy from a pet shop you will end up with nothing but trouble. No good breeder would ever sell their pups to a pet shop.

Actually there are several on petfinder.com in your area through the shelter and rescues. Never buy from a pet store as this promotes puppy mills, not reputable breeders. Saving the life of a rescue can be very rewarding and you might get to skip some of the housebreaking and training issues plus a mature dog already shows their personality and the volunteers can help you choose one that fits you and your lifestyle. BOL!
