Do you think that pet shops should be inspected impromptu on the animals health?

I REALLY do. I once saw a pet shop where there were 2 dead mice, one a skelaten, one mostly meat, and the other mice were eating each other and they had no food or water. ALso pet shops are getting way too careless.

They should do random inspections, but that is rare.

Complaints about pet shops should be filed with your state’s Department of Agriculture. They are the licensing body for animal shops. A complaint almost always prompts an inspection (at least in the state where I live).

whenever a business requires a health inspection such as pet stores and restaurants it should always be with zero notice. This is the only way to see how a business really operates.
I mean everyone cleans up and is on there best behavior if they know there being inspected.

    You should report that store.

I think they should also be held accountably for any illnesses that dogs and cats get. Puppy mills are rampant and coming from a family of dog breeders I know there is no money to be made in breeding. People who are profiting are cutting corners and it is usually in the quailty of life for their animals.

i agree. inspections ahould happen randomly at least twice a month. the stores that fail to meet expectations should be shut down. ive heard that pets at some store are sick and in close quarters with other animals. this is unhealthy for the ohter animals.
