Nate S asked:

For a german shepherd male puppy, what will pet insurance do?
will it cover just like insiline, or prescriptions for them, or cover there vet visit so it isnt like 300$ a visit?

Thanks!

i’m in the uk. my pet insurance covered my £2000 bill when my cat got run over except for £100 excess. My policy doesn’t cover annual check ups but pretty much everything else. I was so pleased i had it!

It covers any vets fees apart from the excess( usually £50-100) and also the cost of advertising and reward if your pet is lost, boarding kennels if you are ill, holiday cancellation if your pet falls ill and you have a holiday booked and many other things depending on the policy. It does not cover routine visits like vaccinations or neutering or any pre existing conditions your pet has.
